There is a cute little organic produce farm not far from where we live where we like to go and get our honey. (Little health tip: Eating local honey helps with seasonal allergies). My kids call it "the honey farm". I like to make it fun for the kids, so I always let them get a honey stick and sometimes another little treat. On the nice days we will stay a bit and sit at the picnic table while we are enjoying our honey sticks.
Today when we sat down at the table we found a little birds nest on the ground under the table. Mac loved it, and loved seeing that this bird had used bits of trash to make it's nest. We showed the lady at the farm and she said we could take it home. Then the kids spent a good thirty minutes rolling down a little hill in the wet grass. Pretty sure they had a blast. It was fun to watch them having so much fun.
