Sunday...twenty-six...

Church with cousins.

cousins, carpet, Crater Lake and waterfalls...

On the way home from the campout we stopped at my in-laws for the night. Because it was father's day. Cousins were down visiting for the day. So the kids had a blast playing. Oak and T drove around the house at least 20 times together. They had so much fun together.

Mac loves this dog! We will eventually get a dog just like it.

So we have a few fruit trees on our property. Look at that cute little pear.

This is Oak's rocker pose.

One night Mac had taken a nap and wasn't tired, daddy was gone to a meeting and I was working on something and he wanted to be up so I said he could as long as he was reading a chapter book.

Walked into this sweet sight one morning. This is my little family and I love them.

Trying to make lunch fun and keep them entertained so they didn't bother our friend who was putting in carpeting downstairs.

So our neighbor and friend from the town house we just moved from put in new carpeting for us. He did a great job.

The kids trying out the carpet.

This was all vinyl flooring and it looks so much better and cozier with carpeting. It's a great space for my mom. She gets the whole downstairs which is a little office/craft room, a full bathroom, a bedroom and a great room. Perfect for her!

When we woke up at 6:30 the kids weren't in their beds. Found them here. so cute!

Because we moved near the lake. There is a nasty midgy problem. We accidentally left the window open (they can get through the screen) and the light on and our bathroom was full of bugs! Yuck! The next night we accidentally did that in our bedroom. Not my favorite.

Ready for donut day! Oak says, "I look like a DJ!" because her hat was on backwards.

My SIL Jess and her family was coming to Oregon from Utah for the 4th of July and they decided to come through our town and stop by to see our new house and to visit Crater Lake.

With cousin C.

We drove around Crater Lake and stopped at Videa Falls.

Hiking the waterfall.

Then we stopped to see the Ghost Ship or what ever it is called.

This girl loves to play in the dirt.

When we got home it was so hot so we ate BLT's and then went outside. And found this beautiful sight.

While the kids were running through the sprinkler.

The the sky turned to this. My phone camera never does a good job at capturing the sunsets.

Oak climbing.

On our way to Eugene we stopped at Salt Creek Falls. We thought it would be this little dinky waterfall. It wasn't!

This is as close as we could get without one of the kids falling to their death.

It was beautiful!

All wearing flip flops of course.

We stopped at the creek heading back to the car. It was nice and shallow and the kids got nice and wet.

Oak swung alot when we got to grandma's house. She said, "I could actually swing for my whole entire life."

Oak was playing on the floor in Grandma's living room and put her hand down and there was a yellow jacket and she got her very first sting. She said it felt like hitting her hand on a nail. I forgot my Lavender oil but we got some lavender from the yard and a Popsicle for her to hold.

Sunday...twenty-five...

Dancing, back yard fun, caterpillars and a family campout...

Watching TV on grandma's bed so I could get some stuff done.

We weren't totally moved in but it was hot and so we let the kids run in the sprinkler in their underwear.

Oak helped daddy put her bed together.

Playing in our new backyard.

Both playing outside shirtless since theirs got wet in the sprinkler and we didn't have their clothes with us.

Silly girl.

After our first night staying in our new house Hubs and I (and my MIL) went on an early morning walk up the hill behind our house. It was steep. And had a beautiful view.

My amazing in-laws came all the way down for the day to help us move. They were so much help!

Smiley girl came in my bed to snuggle in the morning.

Mac needed more shorts so for the first time I cut off some of his jeans to make shorts. They are so cute on him!

The kids are still getting used to the idea that they can go play in our backyard by themselves. One day I told them to go and play for a bit before they could come in and watch a movie for quiet time. They spent their whole time outside like this. So funny!

One evening the kids spent most of the evening climbing the apple tree in the backyard. There are huge rocks in the ground right below the tree so someone has to be right there with them. But they were in heaven.

Then they found a caterpillar and had so much fun with it. You have to watch the videos they made below...

We went to the annual family campout that is for my mom's family. Her siblings and their children. It wasn't well attended but it was fun to see the cousins we did get to see.

picking daisies.

My mom and two of her brothers.

Cool kid!

My Uncle always brings his golf cart and gives rides to the kids.

Oak got in my sleeping bag early and we were giggling.

The weather was nice enough to swim at the pool there. They pretty much swam all day.

My Uncle paid Mac a dollar to wear his duck hat and let him take a picture. We are Beaver Believers here.

Mac making himself comfortable in the pool.

Oak saved an ant from the pool and then she was a bit obsessed with it. She loves bugs!

Swinging together.

Playing with her cute cousin. They are the same age and we try to get a picture of them together every year and they were not very cooperative. As moms we were joking about how we will look back at the pics of them together over the years and think about why we didn't get  a picture of them that one year and then remember oh thats right they were four.

The last few years they have been playing bingo as a fund raiser for the next years campout. My kids love this.

Mac won the prize we brought and decided he would share with his cousin since we already owned alot of what was in the prize.

Oak officially figured out pumping while we were at the campout.

The kids loved playing in the sandpit.
