I always LOVE when I get a decent picture of Mac looking at the camera (one that is also in focus)!

Favorite pictures of JUNE...and a little of life lately!

Photobucket
This picture shows Mac's personality to a T!

Photobucket
Daddy and Mac kisses during a round of "peekaboo!"

Photobucket
A Daddy in training! He LOVES to push things around.
Yesterday as I was cleaning under, behind and in my couch, Mac was pushing the vacuum cleaner around the couch, which was in the middle of the room.

Photobucket
He was telling me and showing me that that was a "guck" (truck).
I think he was trying to make sure that I knew he was still a boy even though he was pushing around Dora in a purple stroller. And what you don't see is the rocks that he picked up and put in the stroller with Dora. I think he is ALL BOY!

My handsome Man!

Photobucket
Mac showing Grandma the airplane in the magazine!
He grabbed grandma and the magazine and gave it to her saying "airplane". He wanted her to find the picture of the airplane that he had seen in it earlier. This would usually be a Mac and Grandpa thing, but I think Grandpa was gone, so Grandma had to do.

Getting a wagon ride with "cousins".
These boys are my cousin's twin boys, who are just a month younger than Mac. They didn't really know how to play with eachother this year, but maybe next year.

You can't tell from this picture, but Mac had climbed in and was sitting in his book basket.
I have no clue why!

Looking so handsome and like such a big boy, right before going to Uncle Spencer's wedding reception.

Daddy and Mac at the reception.
Mac was not a happy camper. It was during his nap, and by the end all he wanted was me, but I had to take pictures still.

LOVE this photo! My handsome boy with a mouth full of teeth!

Photobucket
If this picture had sound, it would sound something like a high pitched scream! Oh brother!
I think I may go deaf, and I think that I better get some ear plugs. This boy has been screaming all day long, happy or mad! My neighbors just might call CPS with all the screaming they are hearing lately!

I was trying out this fabric I got to use as a background for my makeshift studio. This was pre ironed and starched and was just hanging over some chairs. I was also trying to test the light out at a certain time of day for some photoshoots I have coming up.

The Father of my children...

How I love that Hubs is the Father of my children!

And how I love the special circumstances that has made him a Father!

I am really excited for the relationship that Mac and Hubs will always have!

The picture above is titled "In the Arms of Joseph" by Simon Dewey.

I got Hubs this picture for fathers day.

(however I did not frame it yet, lame!)

This picture reminded me of Hubs and Mac and also made me think of this picture taken just 30 minutes after Mac was born.

Jesus was not Joseph's biological son, but he loved him and taught him as his own!

He adopted him!

Happy Father's Day!

First Urgent Care Visit!

Mac had his first (of I assume many) visits to Urgent Care. We were at a family reunion last weekend and Mac fell down a concrete step. I didn't see it happen, but when I saw his ear, I completely lost it, and I was hysterical and bawling. We tried to get it cleaned up to see if we needed to take him to Urgent Care, which was more than 30 minutes away. He wouldn't let anyone near him, and just cried with his head on my shoulder. Hubs and my Dad gave him a blessing and we headed to Urgent Care. Once we got there Mac was pretty happy. He didn't get any stitches. The outside part is just scraped pretty bad and the inside is cut, but it is staying closed so they didn't think it needed stitches. They had to have three people hold him down screaming just so they could take a closer look. I stood in the hall bawling. I am really hoping it doesn't get infected, since he really won't let me near it. A week later it looks great, although he will have a little scar.

18 months!

I seriously can not believe he is 18 months old already! He has changed so much in just the last two weeks, becoming more little boy and less baby everyday!
He had is 18 month check up on June 11th. Mac was a perfect angel for it!
He weighs about 24 lbs which is in the 20th percentile (small)
and he is 33 1/4 inches tall which is in the 90th percentile (very tall)
(the lady who weighed him didn't know how to use the scale and was going to say that he was 20 lbs 4 oz. I had to show her where it said lbs to actually make him 24 lbs. Oh well!)

The picture above is in the waiting room. Before we even walked in the front door of the office he was asking to see the fishy. Umm, we haven't been to the office in two months, this boy has a good memory, holy cow!
He had to get one shot for meningitis/pneumonia. We have him on a special vaccination schedule because he gets really high fevers with them. So he gets one every couple of months instead of a whole bunch in one visit. And Mac woke up the next morning at 8 instead of 6:30 and had a temperature of 103.1.
He is perfect developmentally and his ears are clear and his teeth look great (all 16). His skin is also doing great.
He is doing great with no milk all day. He only gets his one sippy full in the morning and none the rest of the day. He is eating alot better too, although he is still really picky. He did try and eat a cucumber the other day and ate half of the entire cucumber himself. He also really loves chicken, and asks for it at almost every meal, "chichin".
He is really obsessed with fish and "Finding Nemo" right now.
When we leave to go somewhere he has to bring something with him, it is usually is "ride-on" toy. It takes a couple of minutes to talk him out of him and into a little hot wheel or something.

He is climbing on everything now, including the chairs at the kitchen table. Thankfully he hasn't figured out to climb on the table yet. When he climbs on the chairs he usually sits himself down immediately.

He has to feed himself with a fork or spoon these days. He does not like any help! He was even picking up the peach pieces and and poking it onto the fork with his hand and then putting it in his mouth.
He is also obsessed with airplanes and can say "airplane" clear as day. Every time he hears a loud sound in the sky he points up and says "airplane".
He has his bad weeks of complete fits and nothing will make him happy and then he has is great weeks, where he is a perfect angel and is loving and patient. It is crazy the difference in the two moods. He has been doing this about every other week. I think that is pretty typical for a toddler.
His smiles are the best!

"Fishy!"

Mac and I met up with my Uncle and cousin and her little family at the Aquarium. We have been watching lots of Finding Nemo lately, especially with Mac feeling under the weather. Mac loved the "fishy", "Nemo", and "shark". He kept on pointing these out to me constantly through the whole visit. He was a perfect boy even though he has had a really rough week!
P.S. This is my 500th post...so look soon for a celebration post with a photo session giveaway!

Armitage Park

Photobucket
We went on a little nature walk to try out our new/used kid pack. Mac loved it, much to our suprise since he hates being confined in anyway. The walk was beautiful and the weather was perfect. It was just so fun to do something as a little family!
