MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!

Well Merry Christmas from B & B.
I just want to make sure everyone is updated for the year, so here goes...

We have had a wonderful year. We have had the most amazing opportunity to provide respite care on the weekends for a foster child named Mylie. We started taking care of her in March when she was just 8 months old. She was able to go back to her mother in September. And we still get to see her often. She is the sweetest, smartest little girl, especially with all that she has been through. She is almost 18 months old. And talking like crazy. I was able to teach her some sign language, which she picked up on quickly. And we love her deeply, as you can tell from all the pictures I have taken and posted. We hope to always be an influencial person in her life as she grows up.

Also we were able to move from our tiny one bedroom apartment into a 3 bedroom duplex, which has been wonderful.

Hubs graduated with his Masters in Accounting in June. And straight way after that he has been constantly studying for his CPA exams. Three down, one to go! He will receive his CPA in the Spring. He is now already talking about getting a PHD.

I have just been scrapbooking and crafting for the most part and taking care of Mylie. I most recently was called to be in the YW presidency at church and that has been fun but a huge adjustment.

Well that is all from us. We hope to hear from all of you and hope you all get to enjoy the season.

Love,
B & B

Ho! Ho! Ho!

We went to a family Christmas party and we had a jolley visitor while we were there.
OK Santa, I have been a good girl and I know exactly what I want.

Did you get all of that?!?!?

Do I need to write all that down for you?

Oh Christmas Tree!

We went to a tree farm smack dab in the middle of the neighboring town (not in the country or back woods) to cut down our own tree. Well we didn't cut it down, but we called over the guy with the chain saw and he had it down in 5 seconds flat.

Not too big or fat and not too skimpy, The Perfect Christmas Tree!
(The finished product coming soon!)

Adventures in Christmas tree hunting!

All the fun we had while trying to find the perfect tree.

"Where's your belly button?"

This finding your belly button buisness is hard work!

Mylie

I just thought that these pictures were cute.
There is no rhyme or reason to them.
