The coast...

We went to the coast today. We couldn't go to the lake house like we usually do, but I at least wanted to hit the beach and let Mac play in the sand. It wasn't sunny when we got there but it wasn't windy and it wasn't freezing, and that is considered good for the Oregon coast. We played on the beach for a little while then decided to hike up to the lighthouse. By the time we got down from there the sun started to come out but we were hungry so we headed back into town for lunch then headed home. It was a good day!

This is a typical Hubs thing to do at the beach. He digs himself a hole to recline in.

Mac had fun finding rocks to throw in the water.

We had fun digging in the sand with our sand toys.

He liked to find the biggest, heaviest rocks to throw in the water of course.

We explored some caves.

We tried to get a family pictures but Mac didn't want to.
But he was happy to get a picture with Grandma and Grandpa.

*sigh* this is just what I needed today.

Only in Oregon to people visit the beach in late may in hats, jeans and jackets.

Thank you for the beautiful photos. I can almost smell the delicious air.
