park playing, Tinkerbell, reading, and a very brave girl...

Oak has been really into fairies and had to make her own fairy wings of course.

I finally remembered to start Mac on Kahn Acadamy. He has really enjoyed it so far.

This is what happens when he wakes up at six and then we have to get in the car to pick Oak up from Preschool.

Loved Oak's drawing of Tinker Bell.

Monday Mac was asking about where our last name came from so we had an impromptu FHE on our family history and family tree. The kids loved it!

Tuesday was so nice outside we TRIED to do school outside. But the kids were too distracted by the neighbors dog.

Cold Mountain is taking me forever to get through.

Then the kids insisted on painting outside.

This day Mac was NOT wanting to read the chapter in his book that I asked him too. Once I finally got him to do it and ended up reading three chapters and finished the book.

So we found out at the kids' cleaning that Oak has 6 cavities. Despite the fact that we brush and floss her teeth everyday. The dentist says she has really thin enamel. So Oak had to go back in and get two fillings for now. I was really nervous about it. I didn't want to lie to Oak but also didn't want to scare her either. It was hard to figure out what to say to her. I did find a video of another four year old boy getting a filling and had her watch it. I think that helped the most. But to be honest, her dentist was amazing and Oak didn't even feel the Novocain shot that she had in her mouth for several minutes. Oak didn't cry or get upset at all and came out of the dentist with a giant smile on her face despite having half her face numb.

So this is what happens when I leave Mac to label his boxes. And yes, we hope we will be moving soon. Details soon.

We were having a pretty rough day so I said that we were going to go on a walk/scooter ride to  hopefully help with everyone's temperament. Mac ended up fall while riding his scooter and hit his knee on the scooter by the wheel and ended up with this.

They were playing name that tune with whistling. It was really cute.

I was sitting down eating breakfast when I look up and see a cute little monkey hanging from our fence.

Then the kids continued to play and get soaked in the sprinkler at 9am.

Then I found them giggling in Oak's bed.

And they did all of this instead of the chores they needed to do to be able to go to the homeschool park playgroup. It was frustrating but fun for them.

They did eventually (the last 20 minutes) get their chores done to be able to go. It was beautiful weather. And the kids loved hanging out with their homeschool friends.

After the park we had to drop dad of at an eye appointment so we stopped to get some ice cream (not for me) and then back to another park to wait out dads appointment.

Park playing.

Oak has the right idea to learn how to pump but keeps on doing the motions at the wrong time. So I was trying to show her and she wanted to take a picture.

Mac is slowly mastering the monkey bars. He can get about 5 to 7 rungs.

We had an impromptu lesson on perspective which ended in Mac eating Oak.

The boys got haircuts. Mac was in DIRE need!

As a last minute thought when the kids were playing with water and medicine droppers outside I gave them paint brushes to paint with water. They loved it.

After fasting on Sunday we had this amazing Whole30 compliant meal. Crock pot marinated chicken over riced cauliflower, oven roasted green beans and salad. I definitely over ate and had second of everything.

We made a treat for Sunday night. We used frozen bananas and strawberries and coconut milk to make "ice cream". It is way better than ice cream!

While Hubs and I were having a deep conversation about the scriptures. Oak decided to take a whole thing of yarn and make lazer beams. She is a busy creative girl.
