Mac at SIX

He is an extrovert. He totally feeds off others energy when he is around more than just our family. And that energy turns into trouble for him. It turns off his listening, thinking and self control skills. It has been something we have struggled with and continue to struggle with. His extroverted energy is something I am trying to enjoy about him.

He is really smart and catches on quickly. A lot comes easily to him so when things don't come easily he tends to quit before he has even put any energy into trying. Also when things come easily he doesn't want to put the effort into improving.

He is so loyal to his long time friends whether they are nice to him or not. He is also like this about his cousins. He loves family and friends!

He eats Malt-O-Meal for breakfast every morning. I give him the opportunity to choose something else and he always ends up choosing the Malt-O-Meal.

He thrives off of routine and once he gets a routine down he is great at doing things on his own. For example when he gets up in the morning he gets dressed, makes his bed and says his morning prayer all without me saying a thing to him. We have less issues when he knows what to expect in our day.

He loves being read to. Him and daddy read chapter books before bed every night. And he totally looks forward to this.

He is getting good at reading he just doesn't want to put a lot of effort into it.

He has finally learned to love his scooter and has gotten quite good at it.

He has lost three baby teeth so far.

He loves to decorate for holidays!

He is a snuggler and loves to be close.

He is excited to start homeschooling in January.

He has the best genuine laugh and it always makes me happy when ever I hear it.

He is funny and learning what is actually funny and what is not and when it is appropriate to be funny. He really loves to make people laugh.

He loves to teach people what he knows. And he is actually really great at it.

He loves containers or boxes to put his favorite toys at the moment.
