Please tell me this is NOT Chicken Pox!!

PLEASE NO!!!

He had a doctors appointment yesterday afternoon and there was not one spot on him. Last night when I was changing his clothes he noticed a few of them, and thought it was odd. Then this afternoon I noticed that there were alot more spots then before.
He hasn't been around any kids really. But who knows!
I really don't want to have to miss Christmas with our families because of this!
***UPDATE***
Ok, so I think it may actually be Roseola.
Which I think is better than the Chicken Pox.

I don't think it looks like chicken pox, but then again... I am no doctor (oh yeah, and I don't have kids, ha ha.) :) Chicken pox usually look like little pimples or blisters... I can't really tell from the photo though.

I hope that he doesn't have chicken pox for Christmas. :(

Oh poor guy. By the way I love your Christmas card...I sent your little gift and forgot to send McCoys present. AUGGGH! I am losing it. I will get it there soon!

It kinda looks like Roseola to me. Ian got it right around his 1st birthday as well. Luckily, adults don't get it (typically) and even kids over something like 5...so you probably won't have to avoid any Christmas gatherings. Ian didn't seem to mind at all...so hopefully this will be the case with McCoy! Good luck and Merry Christmas!

Yikes, I don't know. It does start on the stomach, hope it's not though.

I think it might be an allergic reaction. It looks like a rash. Is he on any antibiotics? My kids are both allergic to penicilan, and that is exactally what it looked like, did he eat anything unusual? Or even a new kind of lotion? Or did he get shots at the doc, he could be allergic to something in the shot.

So sad-however Roseola is much better than the chicken pox and not near as miserable-I will cross my fingers for you that is all it is. I had the chicken pox several years ago and the blisters got big pretty fast. Good luck-I hope McCoy feels better soon & you get to enjoy Christmas as you planned.

ohhhh. H got roseola in spring. he was so itchy. a little bit of benadryl type stuff worked like a charm, and calamine lotion helped too.
and no, i didn't make it up there. some stuff came up. :(
