A long hard road...

Infertility and Adoption are both a long hard road that I know so many people don't understand. One of my blogging buddies who just recently adopted a gorgeous little boy posted this on her blog yesterday and every word is so true for Hubs and I.
Please take a look!

Wow, I really loved what she said. Sorry, if at times I have been the silly one saying things like, "don't worry you will get there!" We love you guys, miss you tons. I can't wait to see you tomorrow!

that was a neat way to describe it. i think that boat-goers are WAY more brave than us plane-takers. but no matter how you get there, the journey is worth it. and then it becomes a rollar-coaster ride. FUN!
and not to take away from the meaning of the story, but my dad just got back from australia. it was a 23 hour flight.

What a beautifully true metaphor. Thanks for sharing that with us. I know it's been a long hard road for you guys and so many others and am so happy you'll be getting your boy soon!

Congratulations on your sweet baby boy!! Open Adoptions are amazing. Unless you have been a part of an adoption it is so hard to put into words for either side. It is something that you have to experience to understand. I'm excited to read about your placement. That day is unforgetable and so serial!!!
