A little math work with Oak.
We wanted to bring the kids back something from our little getaway but we didn't want to get them any toys but we found these cool little terrariums of aloe and lavender. The kids have loved them.
First Pine Wood Derby. I am so proud of this boy! He didn't win overall. But he got 1st place once and 2nd a whole bunch of times and he was so happy with that. And he had a great time cheering all his friends on. So proud of his great attitude. Not only that but he voted for a friends car for best in show instead of his own. And then he ended up winning best in show and got to go to Districts where he got 4th place over all.
When Mac was deciding on a design for his car, he wanted to do something that reminded him of his grandpa Dick. Grandpa Dick would have loved helping Mac with his car and watching him race.
We went to drop of something to a friend and got to hold her tiny preemie.
And also her snake!
The boys went somewhere and to Oak that always means nail painting.
Math for Mac for the day.
Unfortunately I left a pack of gum in my pants pocket then washed it. I had a great time right before going to bed picking gum off clothes.
A local school had a fund raiser carnival. It was a lot of fun.
Saturday is daddy's favorite day of the week. It means yard work and he loves that stuff. So we had a saturday morning garden planning meeting.
