school, Father and Son campout and T Ball...

I found this very funny! We were on a walk and Mac (who hates going on walks) brought along his new Lego magazine and read it the whole walk. Look at that beautiful scenery and he has his cute little head in a magazine. Silly boy.

After Mac bringing up the topic of natural disasters, and talking to him about how we need to not be afraid of natural disasters but be we need to be prepared, I realized I haven't updated our 72 hour kit since before we moved here. So it's been about three years. We pulled out everything, I threw away all the food after making a list of what I needed and I am still working on finding some clothes for the kids that I am willing to give up. So everything is still sitting in our family room. And i still need to go shopping.

So Mac started working on his "coin" badge for cub scouts and we ended up looking for all the state quarters which led to a good geography lesson. It was fun.

This day I was trying to find the beautiful and good in this little girl after a couple of very difficult behavior days with her. Her braids and freckles were killing me. Love that smile.

I was also trying to find some ways to connect with her. So a little mommy and me time at the park was just what we needed.

Then we turned up "Shake It Off" really loud in the car and danced and sang while we drove home.

That little ball is a book mark. Mac always picks the funniest things to be his book marks.

Counting coins for math.

A local homeschooling mom has been putting together a P.E. class at the park every week. We usually can't go because it conflicts with us going to the homeschool center. But we were able to go one week to their Olympics activity. The kids had fun.

We couldn't get the lawn mower started and the front lawn was in dire need of a mowing. Hubs was about to leave for a meeting so once he got it started he made a few rounds. It was cute to see him out there in his dress clothes.

I took over and then Mac came and took over.

Then Oak wanted a try.

Our friend invited us over to her house for a lady bug activity.

She also had chicks, fish in a wheel barrow and a frog that the kids all loved playing with.

Oak was wanting a tin can phone, so grandma whipped out her skills.

Off to the Father and Son campout.

Oak caught this moment of me giving mac the goodbye talk. You know, "be a good listener, don't run off, make good choice and I love you."

Oak then took a selfie with her and Mac. She was not very happy about her not getting to go too.

After the boys left she had her second lesson. Look at that smile. So proud of her.

I was still a nervous wreck the whole lesson.

We went to dinner and then Oak wanted ice cream at 31 flavors.

I promised Oak she could sleep with me. I was fun waking up to this curly red mop.

Then Mac had his first T Ball game. Except they are pitched to by adults instead of hitting off a T. Not sure why. But he loved every second. And it was so fun and funny to watch. The kids had no clue what they were doing.
