Fire station open house...

A couple of Saturdays ago, we headed down to our local fire station for their annual open house. They always have a lot of fun things for the kids to do. It was a bit wet  that day, but not too cold thankfully. The kids had so much fun. Oak still talks about the "folk room" when we drive by, (folk is how she says smoke) which was a room filled with smoke so the kids could learn how to crawl on their hands and knees when there is a fire.

With our neighbor Eric, whose Dad is a volunteer at the station. He is the nicest kid and is always so great with my kids.

Mac thought the heat detector gun thing was really cool. And our neighbor Eric was on the other headphone set and they were talking back and forth.

We also saw our other cute neighbor friend Parker. They go to Preschool together too.

Thankfully one of our close friends works at the fire station along with his daughters, so all we have to do is ask and we can come down and look at the trucks whenever we want.
