words and phrases we love to hear...
"hebacotter" (helicopter)
"wheredago" (where did it go)
"mama-daddy" (when he really wants one of us)
"chichen" (chicken)
"want some"
and he says and copies any words he hears. we actually don't know half of what he is saying anymore because he is trying out new words and we don't quite understand.
he recognizes and knows the names of certain people: both grandmas and grandpas, cousin G, cousin E, cousin S.
he is doing so good on the stairs and can sometimes even step down forward with out help.
he is SO loud all the time, he does not know how to talk quietly at all.
he has certain names for some of his favorite books (usually it is the first line of the book, or what the book is about):
"Peedie" ~ Peedie
"Ding-Ding!" ~ Fire Engine Book
"Choo-Choo!" ~ Thomas Book
"Beep-Beep!" ~ Sheep in a Jeep
"Meeeooowww!" ~ Animal picture book
"Trackor" ~ Vehicle picture book
"Monkey" ~ Five Little Monkeys
He is great at feeding himself with a spoon or fork, and demands to do so.
He is VERY friendly and says HI and BYE to EVERYONE!
He catches onto things very quickly, and comprehends alot:
~he saw grandma's camera and went and picked it up and said "picture"
~at night he tells us he wants to "rock" so that he can stall going to bed
~when ever he hears a dog barking he says "Benji!..DOWN Benji!" (his grandparents dog is a little hyper and we are always telling him "Down!")
He has become so much more cuddly and we are loving it!
He LOVES cucumbers, and watermelon, and oatmeal, and pancakes.
He does not like peanut butter, and prefers to just have jam on his sandwiches.
Any building that is tall he usually yells "EMPLE" (Temple). But he gets really excited when he sees a real Temple.
He loves to sit and have books read to him. He will sit and usually listen to a whole book with out moving or turning pages. He likes to have the same book read to him OVER and OVER. And because of this has most of his books memorized and when we get to a page he knows will make the sounds or say a word from that page.
He turned 19 months in Las Vegas in temperatures of no lower than 100 degrees. He HATES the hot wind, and covers his face and whines. I don't really blame him!
He loves to run his hands through mommy's hair when I wear my hair down.
He is so sweet and alot of hard work, and we love him to pieces! WE LOVE OUR MAC BOY!

They grow up fast, don't they?! What a smart boy!
What a great place to celebrate a birthday milestone! Did you know that's where Bella was born? We joke with her that she is not allowed to go back until she is in her 30's.
Is McCoy going to nursery yet? I tried taking Bella in once just to see how she did. Let's just say we have some things to work on before she gets in there permanently.
You are so awesome keeping track of all of the cute things he is saying! I love that he'll sit and let you read a whole book over and over again. I wish mine would! What a neat little boy.
Looks like you had a fun 4th of July! I love all of the photos! You are so talented!
