So they have finally started on our house! We are so excited! On Saturday we went and chose all the interior stuff for the house: cabinets (dark oak), carpet (highest upgrade, off white shag), counter tops (just laminate), the tile for the entryway, the the flooring for the kitchen, the back splash, and the color of the house. It was fun and pretty easy to pick it all out, surprisingly. After we did that we thought we would just go look at our lot really quick and this is what we saw (in the above picture). It still looked that way on Monday night, but today when we went to go show my parents it looked like the below pictures. And as we were leaving, the cement truck was pulling up to pour the foundation. We were a little bummed that we couldn't stay to watch them pour the cement. Hubs had to get back for a doctors appointment because he has strep throat. But on our way out of town tomorrow we are going to stop by and take another picture. In about a week they should have all the walls up and the windows in and and possibly the roof started. Yep, they are that quick.

How exciting you guys! This must seem like such a thrill to be so close to moving into a home that you love, and that you get to make so many decisions on. Congratulations! Can't wait for the progression pictures.
