It was Hubs' little sister's birthday. We happened to be in town and were able to visit her spot to wish her a happy birthday. I loved that there was a rainbow while we visited her.
There was a bunch of stuff on the table that I didn't feel like moving so we had a picnic breakfast and devotional.
Oak had been begging me for months to take her ice skating. I finally did and Mac who did not want to go had a blast. Oak who had been before was a little hesitant but finally warmed up to it.
Oak finally felt confident enough to learn to make scrambled eggs on her own. She rocked it and she declared her own eggs to be the best eggs ever.
We had the opportunity to go to an assisted living home to read to the residents and do a craft with them.
Every year Hubs takes Mac to an auction that his firm supports. And Oak and I had the opportunity to have a girls night. I seriously always love the opportunity to hang out with just one of my kids at a time. They are so much more fun.
We went to Coastal Farm store and she loved every single second. The had a huge area for just horse riding gear and she was enamored.
And a life size horse that she fell in love with.
And we tried on every single cowbow hat.
And Mac won a lot of loot at the auction.
Their is a cow field across the street from our house and we have enjoyed the little babies this year. That road you see is our road and below that is our yard. They were so close this day as we watched then out our family room window. The calfs just run and bounce around and are so stinking cute.
