Lakehouse week 2...

Daddy left the day before fourth of July so it was just the three of us for our family photo.

Annual Grandkid photo. Missing two who left the day before. And you can't see little A behind a head.

We found a salamander just floating in the lake.

Italian sodas for Independence Day.

Cute Grandpa.

Paddle boat ride.

They were all having a blast trying to see how many they could fit on the paddle board.

Friendship bracelet making.

Grandma found a bag of sand in the garage at the lake and the plastic pool had a hole so we couldn't put water in it. So the sand was perfect in it. The kids all had a blast playing in it.

Oak painted my toe nails.

Oak decided she wanted to try wake boarding. She attempted but didn't get up. I thought she looked so cute in the wet suit.

Mac did not like the kayak because it didn't come very easily to him.

Oak's Aunt braided her some corn rows.

Mac killed me in scrabble (with Grandma's help)

I burnt my thighs badly.

All the grown-up and almost grown-up girls went antiquing and to lunch. And the guys stayed home to watch the kids.

On our last day there it rained.

My mother in law took this cute pic as we were leaving. I guess Benji didn't like us leaving either.

Twice while we were at the lakehouse Mac had what seemed to be an asthma attack so on the way home we stopped at his allergist. Still not sure if he has asthma (the only times he has ever had anything like that has been at the lake this year and last year). But we do now have an inhaler just in case.

We got home Friday night and Saturday we decided to go see this done by a children's acting camp. The kids loved it.
