Life in October in a million iPhone pics...

Oak got some new dresses was Grandma and she had to wear one to Preschool the next day.

We got new rain boots!

We have been playing lots of Farkle.

Oak looked so cute in the little knobs I put in her hair. She rarely lets me do anything but what we call the "caterpillar". And she almost never lets me put two piggies like this.

They looked so cute playing doctor.

A craft we did.

Mac was so excited to be going to school in all orange and Beaver gear.

Oak kept on saying with a little twang in her voice.. ."I'm a cowgirl!"
It was too adorable.

Mac at his jog-o-thon. He did great running and I even ran a bit with him.

Mac playing while watching General Conference.

I have been great about running consistantly. I am up to running two miles straight (about 25 minutes). I plan on signing up for a 5k on Thanksgiving.

A flower in a cup sweet Oak gave me.

Conference cinnamon rolls and licking the frosting brush.

Mac fell asleep in my arms during conference. RARE!!

We went to take dinner to a friend in our ward who just had a baby. She let Oak hold the baby and boy Oak was in heaven.

The beautiful rainbow we saw on the way home from our friends house.

I happened to take a picture of Mac's self portrait hanging in the hall of his school. Love all the detail.

A giant slug I found on my run one morning. I took a picture because I thought Mac would love it.

Waiting on brother at taekwondo. Since school started we don't see our little friends as much as we used to there.

I got my hair done and I love it! Found someone to trade pictures for hair. Love that!

A beautiful sky one night.

A picture of sad Oak by Oak.

On one of my runs and believe it or not but it was raining when I took this pic above me.

One saturday we needed to get out of the house before we all went crazy so we went and saw Turbo and the cheap theater. We loved it!

My hubby loves to bake. And he made these beautiful pumpkin pies out of an actual pumpkin instead of a can. They were so yummy!

And something my hubby has always done was buy me chocolate when he makes a run to the grocery store.

Hubs had a quick business trip and last minute asked me to go with him. Thankfully my parents don't live too far away and the loved that we asked them to come watch the kids even though I only gave them an hour to pack up and get to our house.

The kids following daddy. It was so cute to watch.

This girl is crazy for veggies. Even the weird ones. We were at a buffet and I put chicken nuggest, mac n cheese, pizza, green beans and peas. She ate all of her green beans, and stole a few off my plate then stole the beets of grandma's plate and didn't even touch the rest of her food. Love it!

We got to see cousin C. Oh man this boy is cute! The kids were so excited to see him!

Giving him some love!

After visiting my SIL who was in town we got home late so it was a bowl of cereal for dinner just an hour before bed time. Thankfully the kids didn't mind.

He just looked so grown up at the library looking at a lego magazine.

We live in a teeny tiny town. And the local highschool puts on a homecoming parade every year. We went and it lasted about 5 minutes. But the kids loved the candy.

One of the trees in our yard started out changing colors from the top and it was just so beautiful!

Most mornings during the week I have to peel them out of bed, but as soon as Saturday rolls around they are both up and ready to play at 6am. Found them reading their new library books in Oak's closet.

Most days Oak is adamant on what she wants to wear so we go alot of places wear it is obvious she has dressed herself. Somedays I find it adorable and somedays I just want her dressed in one of the cute outfits we have bought her.

A little rock collection colored with chalk made by Mac and his neighbor friends.

We were cleaning out the garden for the year and Oak had fun playing in the dirt.

Our sweet little pumpkin in our garden.

Oak put this giant puzzle together 90 % by herself and the other 10% was just a bit of guidance.

We had a sick week and most mornings were spent snuggling watching cartoons.

And the rest of the days were spent like this.

You gotta love that the ballerina has a scowl and the pirate has a smile.
Grandma is an elementary school teacher in a neighboring town. And she invited us to her schools Halloween carnival. The kids had fun but Oak was not a fan of the scary costumes and spent a great deal of time clung to my in fear.

So I was at my Walmart grocery shopping and I was in line at McDonalds to get Oak and I a smoothie and I look behind me and my cousin is standing there. I haven't seen or talked to her in years! She lives about 3 hours from where I live. It was great to see her and catch up a bit.

Oak wasn't going to church this day because she was sick but within 15 mins of being up she was dressing up in anything she could get her hands on.

And this was a little bit later that day.

We went to our good buddy/neighbors birthday party at Papa's pizza. We love this guy!

Hubs and I enjoying a quiet evening after the kids were in bed watching Gold Rush.

Just a cutie!

So Oak keeps a little collection of stuff on the ledge of her crib/bed. I think it is one of the cutest things, I love it!

And Mac lost his third tooth and he lost it while at school. He has yet to actually be at home when he has lost one.
