June in pictures

Getting ready to go get our family pictures taken.

A treat afterwards for doing so good.

The boys and their treat.

Cuteness!

How Oak was writing her E for a bit. She has it down now.

Just me and my boy!

And me and my girl!

Mac made this list all on his own of what he wants to learn about this summer.

I have been eating pastrami sandwiches on homemade bread almost every day for lunch. YUM!

Mac and I went on a date.

Our neighbor let Oak where her necklace. It has been Oaks favorite since she was really little and would always ask our neighbor every time she saw her if she could see it.

Riding the toys at the mall.

Oak got a new helmet.

Our neighbor let Oak try out their kid skates. Oak loved them.

We went to a church activity on Flag day where we met at the church for a flag ceremony and breakfast. It was so fun and the kids loved it. Oak told everyone she saw that it was Flag Day.

Sitting by the pool with cousin L at our annual family reunion campout.

After this she begged me to get in. So we got her in her suit (I forgot mine) and I let her play on the steps for a long time. She is a little fish and loved it!.

My Uncle was giving every one rides on his golf cart at the reunion.

We have been trying to get a summer schedule in place and we have been doing workbooks and the kids love it.

On a nature walk finding flowers and bugs to draw in our notebooks.

Babysitting cousin C. He is so stinking cute!

They were getting along so well so I let them trash the family room with their imaginative play.

Mac loved my brother's dog Abe.

Oak got this new skirt from grandma and she insisted on wear it with her flag shirt to bed.

Mac decided he wanted to be in charge of FHE one night so he told he found a few things around the house to talk about related to the Gospel. He did a great job. Our activity was building Temples out of blocks. It was so sweet!

Just a super cute kid making a silly face while wearing his helmet. Love him!

Mac and his friend (our neigbhor) had just gotten owies on the same knee so I had to get a pictue.

Best buds!

Oh I just love this little guy!!

Utah again {Day 3 & 4}

In the morning my brother, Rick and his family and my dad and I went to the Jordan River Temple to do a few baptisms for our family. This time it was extra special because my dad was able to baptize my niece in behalf of my grandmother (my dad's mother, who passed away when I was in high school. We called her Nana). We have tried for years to get her work done and we finally did it. It was very emotional for my dad. My neice was also baptized in behalf of my great grandmother and my great-great grandmother. It was a very special experience. I now will do the rest of the work for my Nana, and I am so excited and happy to have that opportunity.

Later that day we went with my brother Rick and his family to go see Monster's University. We loved it!

The next day was Sunday and we went to my brother Ryan's Ward and then tired naps and then went to my brother Rick's house for a bbq dinner. It was yummy and fun.

My brother Ryan and his little boy.

I think Oak had a little crush on Uncle Ryan.

My SIL pregnant with her second set of twins and little T did not want his picture taken.

We ended up staying one more day in Utah and was able to finally see my sister Dana and her family from Cali. And then we got up bright and early (3 am) and headed home.

The End :)

Utah again {Day two ~ Celebrating}

This is the day I had planned for celebrating. We did something as a family in the morning and in the evening we celebrated with just adults.

We went to Cowabunga Bay which turned out to be awesome. The weather was perfect and the kids absolutely loved it! The water was warm, there weren't a million people, the place wasn't huge and the slides were so fun!

This was the only slide Mac could go down by himself. But he loved every slide that daddy or one of his cousins took him down. He pretty much spent most of his time going down slides.

Oak even loved them but would cover her eyes because she didn't want to get water in them.

My brother and his twin two year olds. They loved the water. The water in the kiddie pool was so warm.

My niece and Oak.
I wish I would have gotten a pic of Mac floating on his back and dunking his head under water. He was loving the water and I am excited to see how he does in swim lessons this summer.

After a few hours at the water park we all went back home to get dressed for an evening to celebrate my parents. We actually kept it a surprise for my parents of what we had planned for them.

My brother made reservations for The Roof at the top of the Joseph Smith building. My mom was in tears when she realized where we were at.

A beautiful view of the Temple.

We also gave them a framed picture of the Oakland Temple where they were sealed and a bouquet of flowers. It was a special night!

All who were able to make it.
