sounds:

zoom (plane), ssss (snake), vroom, beep beep, ding ding, woof, choo-choo, boom (when he falls)

can do:

rubs hands together when he wants lotion

fold arms for prayer when he hears the word prayer

says amen at the right time at the end of prayers

mimics any sounds he hears

says HI over and over until he gets your attention then tells you want he wants.

claps hands and says yay at the end of every song we sing

he is a little obsessed with the Thomas the Train show. When ever I go to turn the TV on or put a movie in he tells me "choo-choo". He also trys to make all the sounds the trains make in the show.

trys to sing abc's: "abcde..la-li-ee"

tries to sing the Bob the Builder theme song: "Bob, Bob, Bob, eh-i-ee-aah!"

smacks his lips for kisses

can point to his: hair, eye, nose, ear, mouth, teeth, feet/toes, belly button, hands

loves to find a flat surface to roll his cars on

counts "twooo-twoooo-twooo"

smells flowers

gives high fives

blows on food

comes up to you and starts to tickle saying "ticko-ticko-ticko"

can eat really well with a fork

loves rocks and sticks

he holds the play camera up to his face and says "cheese". which is funny since I never say that when I take pictures.

he will pick up the play phone and put it up to his ear and say "hello" and then continue to have a full on conversation with the phone.

personality:

hates restaurants, and we try to avoid them if we can

has a temper like no other

his new temper tantrums consist of stomping around in a fit and looks like a drunken sailor at the same time, it is really cute

he is so funny, he cracks us up all the time

he loves to laugh, sing and run around and just be silly

he is really obsessed with all thing vehicles.

he does not ever stop talking, ever!

he is really smart and catches on very quickly.

Hubs is out of town on business and I am missing him like crazy!

Mac climbed up on the couch while Hubs was taking a little nap and did the unthinkable for Mac...SNUGGLE!

So Saturday we signed the construction agreement to have our house built. I don't think it will be started until next week though. But our closing date is set for 9/9/09, how cool is that? It isn't exactly where I wanted to live, but it will be fun to be just a couple of miles from Hubs's parents.

We are really excited and honestly can hardly believe that we are at this point in our life!

The pictures below are basically what our house will look like inside.

Nothing fancy, but we aren't fancy people!

My favorite part...the entry way. This is looking from the front door towards the living room.

After EIGHT years of marriage...

We are FINALLY buying/building a HOUSE!
