Gloria has finally started laying eggs and this is her favorite spot. She found this on her own. And it is just hilarious to us.

Writing a story. This girl is always writing or drawing.

My mom and I found a new lunch spot for our Wednesday child free date. The hamburgers were huger and they were SOOOOO good. Made with fresh local beef.

We had gotten some free kids pizza coupons so we went to lunch.

The yard is starting to come along.

When Hubs and I were first married we used to go get Chinese take out and head to the park to eat. I was trying to recreate that for date night. It was amazing except for getting eaten alive by the mosquitos.

Hubs had some dirt delivered into our field. The kids loved playing on it any chance they got.

rinsing off in the sprinklers.

We went to an event on one of the nature trails. It was hot but the kids loved it.

Our fertilized eggs never hatched for our broody hen so we had to go buy some chicks. Oak's chick didn't make it. She was so sad.

Watching a broody hen with her chick is just about the cutest thing ever. This was Mac's chick Zuzu.

I'm not kidding about the cuteness. We literally would all just go and stand in the coop and watch them for 30 minutes at a time.
