Here is another article that my friend from the The R House has posted on being sensitive to those that are struggling with infertility. Please take the time to read through this article as this is a very important topic that has come up in the years we have struggle to have children of our own.

Blog Widower!!!!
77%How Addicted to Blogging Are You?
I could not help but take this quiz, from my perspective, on behalf of my sweet wife. I have determined how "addicted" my wife is to blogging. Luckily, since Mama B is "only" 77% addicted I may have a chance to help rehabilitate her. For all of you blog widowers I suggest that you try it. It may help you "battle" your wife's addiction to blogging.

HOLY COW!!!
Only 10 more weeks until our little guy is here! Just a little over 2 months! Wow I can't believe that it is getting closer, I am so excited!
Please continue to pray for our sweet birthmother, that she may feel comfort with her decision and the deeply difficult emotions that go with it.
Thank you!!

HOW WE MET...
It was seven years ago last week (Sept. 25th)...
I was sitting at work on a Monday and all of a sudden I had this very weird and very random feeling (or thought). I felt like I was going to meet the man I was going to marry that very night at FHE for my singles ward. It was so strange and totally ridiculous and I wasn't even sure why I had this feeling. Marriage was the farthest thing from my mind, especially since I just had sent off my second missionary the month before this.
So when I got home from work I tried to pick out the perfect outfit and do my hair and makeup perfectly and then headed over to the institute building for FHE. I walked in and saw some friends and started to hang out with them, keeping my eye on every guy that walked into the building, wondering if he was the "one". I ended up hanging out with my friend Clay outside on the steps when all of a sudden Clay got excited to see someone walking up the steps. I turned and saw Hubs and I instantly knew that HE WAS THE ONE! He was so cute of course!
Clay and him started talking and I found out through the two talking that Hubs had just gotten off his mission a few days before. We all went inside to play games and Hubs and I never really talked the rest of the night but were hanging out with the same people, because some how we knew all the same people but did not ever know each other.
Before the night was over I knew I needed to formally introduce myself to him. When it came to guys that I liked or thought were cute I was always very shy. But I managed to put that all aside an walked up to him sitting by himself in a chair and introduced my self to him. I asked him a few questions I am sure then it was over after maybe two minutes.
I left definitely with this guy on my mind. When I got home I told my roommate about him and how cute he was and the little bit that I knew about him. I didn't stop thinking about him all week. So then on Friday of the same week there was a dance at the institute building for the singles ward and I was so hoping that he would be there. And sure enough he eventually showed up. But he sat on the couch in the lobby talking to a friend who had also just returned from his mission. As I was walking by another friend of his said that I needed to go and get one of those guys to dance so that they wouldnt just be sitting on the couch all night. So I walked over and started to talk to them paying most of my attention to Hubs of course. During our conversation, which lasted longer this time, he had to ask me twice what my name was again. But I thought that I had actually caught his interest a little more this time, although I wasn't able to get him to dance.
The following week for FHE we ended up hanging out together with our friend Clay. And then the three of us just ended up hanging out most of the week together. The next week there was going to be a barn dance out of town, and Hubs, Clay and I decided that we would ride together. Then Clay decided that he wanted to go to Utah for some reason. So Hubs tried calling me to see if I still wanted to go with him, but I was gone until midnight celebrating another friends birthday. When I got home that night I was excited to see that he had called, but I didn't call him back because it was way too late. Hubs said that he waited up until really late for my call and was really disappointed when I didn't call him back. But the second I got home from work the next day I called him. We decided that we would still go together as long as he drove.
So he came to my house and we hopped in my car and drove the half hour to the barn dance. All I could remember was that I loved being with him. When we got to the dance I took him to meet my parents who were there because they were serving in the singles ward. Hubs and I ended up dancing every single dance together, and he would hold my hand when we weren't dancing, and oh boy was my heart fluttering. So I was all excited to go home to get a good night kiss. So when it came time for the kiss all I ended up getting was a hug. I was so disappointed. When I walked into my apartment my roommate wanted the scoop and I told her all about it, including my disappointment.

What wonderful friends...
My best friend Amy(right) and good friend Pam(left) from our old Ward in Tigard threw me a baby shower while I was home. It was alot of fun although I hate being the center of attention. So many from our Ward showed up, it was so nice.

A long hard road...
Infertility and Adoption are both a long hard road that I know so many people don't understand. One of my blogging buddies who just recently adopted a gorgeous little boy posted this on her blog yesterday and every word is so true for Hubs and I.
Please take a look!

I won't be able to sleep tonight...
Well, today when I was cleaning, I found a little surprise. As you have probably guessed from the picture, it was a spider. Not just any spider, we are pretty sure it WAS a Hobo Spider. This picture is pretty close to the actual size it was too. NOT COOL! Hobo spiders are harmful, they wont kill you but they will leave a skin lesion that could last for months, and you are supposed to seek medical treatment immediately. SCARY!! I am really terrified of spiders!!!!! Especially big ones, and I hate squishing them too. So I managed to get a grip on my terror and catch it in a glass jar and then waited to kill it until Hubs got home. We dumped finger nail polish remover in the jar and we managed to poison it and drown it at the same time. So anyway I don't think I will sleep very well tonight, I will probably freak out at the smallest itch. I don't know if I am going to be able to handle spiders in my house all winter, especially big Hobo spiders.
***So that you all wont have to look at this spider every time you look at my blog, I will delete the picture after a day or so when everyone has had the chance to see it at least once.

The perfect medicine...
This is my 100th post, woohoo!
I have been SO homesick for Oregon, for my parents, for Mylisa, and for my family and friends. So what is the perfect medicine...you guessed it...a trip home! I am flying home Friday September 21st and staying 10 days. You would not believe how excited I am! And highlights will be getting to have Mylisa the entire time that I am there, and my really good friends from our Ward in Tigard are going to give me my first baby shower. I really can't wait. I am also so excited to get a long break from work (it has been crazy busy)! 10 days sounds like a lot, but then when I think about all the people I want to make sure that I see, it doesn't sound like quite enough! And the hard part is that I really hate being away from Hubs, we both become huge babies when we are away from each other for long periods of time. Maybe I can keep myself busy enough.

Explanation...
So some of you are wondering about my comment on only having to spend one winter in Montana. Well here is the explanation for you...
With the company Hubs works for (Enterprise Rent-A-Car) you have to apply for promotions and almost all promotions are to out of state offices. This means that we will be moving alot in the next 10 years or so, with probably staying in one place for no longer than two years. Hubs can apply for promotions now, but we are going to wait until February or March because the adoption process is more complicated when not in the same state.
I hope this helps with the confusion!

So NOT ready...!!
We realized this week that it is getting dark before 8:30pm. Which means summer is coming to an end. I am so not ready for the winter here...
People keep telling us that winter starts this month...What, No Fall?!?!? I cant believe I am going to miss the Fall! I don't want winter to start yet (although it will mean it is closer to when our baby is born).
I don't want to live in freezing temperatures! I don't want to have to put a coat and gloves on every time I go outside! I don't want to have to get up even earlier in the morning to have enough time to warm my car up before I drive to work which really isn't that far down the road! I don't want to have to worry about getting my car out of the snow that is piled on it because we are on a snow route! I don't want to worry about the weather conditions we will have to drive a hour and a half in when we get the call that our birthmother is in labor!
But I don't really have a choice and it is most likely that we wont be here next winter, so I guess I should just tough it out, right?

Share-A-Recipe!!!
I have been wanting to share recipes with all of you in hopes that some of you would share some of your recipes too. So I encourage you all to try to post a recipe every so often on your blog.
We happened to be making this tonight for dinner. This recipe comes from Hubs's family.
Zucchini Patties
2-3 cups of shredded zucchini
1 egg
1 cup of Bisquick
1/2-3/4 cup of shredded cheese
Mix all together in a bowl. Then cook patties on the griddle (like hamburgers).
Make sure that they are cooked all the way through since there is egg in them.
We like to eat them with ketchup and a little tabasco.

Why I am excited to have a BOY...
This is Hubs...
...this is my favorite picture of Hubs as a little boy, mostly because of the story that goes with it. Doesn't he look like such a good boy in this picture? Well Hubs's mom took this picture and a few minutes after this picture was taken, Hubs got the hose and sprayed his mom down and wouldn't let her into the house. Funny huh?
A few things I am excited about having a boy...
(not in any particular order.)
1. Hubs can take him on the "father&sons" camp out.
2. Someday I will have another priesthood holder in my home.
3. I love how little boys get all dirty and rough when they play.
4. I get to teach him how to respect and treat women.
5. I get to send my son on a mission.
6. I wont have to spend as much time on doing his hair before we go anywhere.
7. My son will probably always look GQ, I am super picky about baby/kids clothes.
8. The cousins he will be closest to in age are all boys.
9. Hubs will have a fishing buddy.
10. Watching him imitate his dad.

Waiting...

In exactly 4 months from today our little guy is due to come into this world. Some days I feel like that is not enough time to prepare, and the next day it feels like it is forever away. This entire weekend it has felt like way too long of a wait. After waiting 6 years for this to come, you think I could manage 4 more months.
On a more exciting note...
We are meeting with our birthmother this weekend, and I am really excited for Hubs to get the chance to meet her. I met with her about a week and a half ago, and she is such a sweet girl, and we got along really well. I am hoping to get a picture of us with her so that I can show you all.

...a boy...
Boys are found everywhere -- on top of, underneath, inside of, climbing on, swinging from, running around or jumping to.
Mothers love them, little girls hate them, older sisters and brothers tolerate them, adults ignore them and Heaven protects them. A boy is Truth with dirt on its face, Beauty with a cut on its finger, Wisdom with bubble gum in its hair and the Hope of the future with a frog in its pocket.

Birthday, Carousel, Ice Cream and saying Goodbye (Family Visit, Part 4)
We had to say goodbye to Hubs's parents and the kids Tuesday night. We were really sad to see them leave. I was just about in tears after they left. We had so much fun!!
But before we had to say goodbye...
McKenna turned eight, so we decided to celebrate by going to the Carousel and having ice cream. The kids loved the Carousel, and got to ride it a few times. Then they all picked out blue cotton candy ice cream. Although I don't like ice cream, I tasted it because the kids said that it really tasted like cotton candy, and it did!
