Sunday gratitude fifty-two...

I am grateful...

...for the up coming new year. I have some goals in mind that I am excited about and scared about.

...for all the moisture we are getting. I am actually not hating the snow.

...to have spent Christmas with my husbands family. I really love every opportunity we get to spend time with them.

...for the quiet and relaxing week we had. It was much needed.

...to have a Sunday where Daddy is home with us all day.

Sunday gratitude forty-nine...

I am grateful...

...that I get to stay home with my kids and that my kids get to stay home with me. I love that we get to be home together and learn and grow.

...for old photos. My brother transferred a bunch of my dads slides to the computer and they are so fun to look at.

...for the two primary baptisms we were able to go to yesterday.

...for all the moisture we have been receiving here in K Falls. It is much needed.

...to be able to spend Christmas with my in-laws. It's my favorite.

Sunday Gratitude...forty-six...

I am grateful...

...for the primary program. It is always a special Sunday.

...for when it is NOT snowing. I hate messy, unsafe roads. Unfortunately we live in a place that makes this happen all winter.

...to have a warm, safe place to be with my family when its cold and snowy,

...to realized that saying NO the first time Hubs asked me to marry him was wrong and then ended up telling him yes a couple weeks later, 15 years ago on the 17th.

...that Hubs waited for me to be comfortable with getting married and that he never pressured me or got frustrated with me over saying no to him.

...for the start of a new week, although this one is going to be crazy!

...to be teaching in primary. I am shocked that I am saying that, because I cried when they called me. I was really hoping to get a calling where I could still go to Relief Society. I have been in Primary for about 13 of the almost 15 years we have been married.

...for the new adventure in teaching Senior Primary, which I have never taught in all my years in Primary.

Sunday Gratitude...forty-five...

I am grateful...

...to know that my Heavenly Father and Savior loves me.

...for the rain today.

...to spend all day as a family working on our home cleaning, organizing and moving things around. Work is so much better when you do it as a family.

...to be called back into Primary, especially Senior primary since I have never taught senior primary before. I did not feel like this when I was initially called, but once I got in there I was comfortable and excited about it. (I taught my class for the first time today and I have 10 kids, biggest class I have ever taught.)

...for a clean home. Lots of clutter had been built up over the weeks and clutter makes me grumpy. I love a clean house although I am not always great at keeping it clean.

...for the gospel and to have inspired leaders at the head of it.

...for crockpots. They are so awesome for warm, yummy dinners. Especially on cold days.

...for the homeschool community where we live. I don't have a doubt that it is one of the reasons we were meant to be here.

Sunday Gratitude...forty-four...

I am grateful...

...for my Savior. All that I have and am is because of him.

...for my testimony of my Savior.

...for the opportunity I will have to learn and grow from my new calling. ( Valiant 8 teacher and Activity day leader.)

...for the beautiful weather we had for Halloween.

...that my kids were so well behave the WHOLE week. It seriously was amazing.

...for all the love and support we get from our family.

...to live where we live and for the home we have to live in.

Sunday gratitude...forty-three...

I am grateful...

...for the Sabbath day. I really appreciate the opportunity to fill my cup for the week, to focus my thoughts and energy on the Savior and to just slow down for the day.

...for a new week. I always love the thought of a fresh start to do and be better.

...for our home. And that it is big enough for all of us to live comfortably.

...for my husbands hard work to provide for his family. I know it is a great burden, but he loves us enough to carry it for our family.

...for the blessing that come from having my mom live with us.

...to live in a place where it is mostly sunny. It makes the cloudy days more bearable.

Sunday Gratitude...forty-two...

I am grateful...

...for my family. I don't ever want to be with out them.

...for my husband. When I look at him I get giddy thinking about that I get to be with him forever.

...that I am finally starting to feel better. Being sick is not easy when you are mom.

...for the beautiful place we live.

...for the restored gospel and a Heavenly Father and Savior who know me personally.

Sunday Gratitude...forty-one...

I am grateful...

...for health. I have not been feeling good the last couple of days and I realized that I am rarely ever sick.

...for natural remedies. I don't like taking medication if I don't have to. I like that we can use what Heavenly Father created to help us with things like sore throats.

...for the beautiful October weather.

...for the peace that comes from attending the Temple.

...for friends that offered to take Oak to church today so that she could give her talk in Primary. And that she also helped Oak with her talk.

...for good, fun days with my kids.

...for the daily bike rides we have been going on. I look forward to it.

Sunday Gratitude...forty...

I am grateful...

...To be able to listen to General Conference this weekend.

...for these three people who I get to call my family.

...for my new phone. I know that is silly, but I am loving the better picture quality on it.

...for a helpful husband. He already has so much on his shoulders, yet he will drop anything to help me when I ask.

...that Mac has been the most behaved and reverent for Conference this time than he ever has.

...for General Conference traditions that make conference a little more fun for my kids.

...to not be in pain anymore. After six long weeks of constant pain and am pain free!

Sunday Gratitude...thirty-nine...

I am grateful...

...that I chose to go to the Women's Broadcast last night. It was so wonderful.

...for the happiness that I feel from following my Savior and having the gospel in my life.

...to be a daughter of God and to know what my work on this earth is.

...to be a daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, niece, wife and mother.

...that families are a part of Heavenly Father's plan of happiness

...for all the wonderful new families in our ward because of the boundary changes.

Sunday Gratitude...thirty-eight...

I am grateful...

...for a wonderful weekend of Stake Conference. The love and support coming from our leaders was amazing to feel.

...for the moments I feel no pain. I have been in a lot of pain the last couple of weeks and it has left me in tears of frustration alot. So now I am appreciating when I don't hurt as bad.

...the my husband likes to bake. I just really love it. Even though his love for experimenting with it drives me nuts.

...for a husband who strives to be a worthy priesthood holder.

...for a husband who loves me unconditionally. He puts of with my craziness and impatience.

...that my husband took me to the Temple this week. It has been WAY TOO LONG.

...for the Temple and for the peace felt there and that I can spend two hours getting away from the world.

Sunday Gratitude...thirty-seven...

I am grateful...

...for our Stake President. He announced boundary changes for our Ward and the other ward in our building and he did a fantastic job of presenting it. He is very inspired.

...for how well behaved my kids were today. Sunday is not their best day.

...that daddy was in our ward today. We like when he gets to come to church with us.

...that the midgies are pretty much gone. They were driving me nuts.

...that we have started school. I actually really love the routine and teaching my kids.

...to be a mom to these two awesome kids. Even if adding to our family will never happen, these two are enough.

...for Saturdays. It is the only day we have Hubs completely to ourselves.

Sunday gratitude...thirty-five...

I am grateful...

...that writing and giving my talk is over with. And that I am off the hook for awhile.

...for the cooler weather the last couple of days. It has started to feel like fall.

...that we will be starting school soon. I love routine and school gives us that.

...that my mom is back home with us after being gone for a week. We love having her here.

...that because it was 5th Sunday we got to have the whole Sabbath day with Hubs.

...for a wonderful Sunday School teacher. She is awesome! I look forward to her lesson every week.

Sunday gratitude...thirty-four...

I am grateful...

...to be a mother. Especially to these two awesome kids. They may drive me nuts sometimes but they are my whole world.

...for the opportunity to teach my kids about the gospel and about our Savior.

...for family time. I love when we can all do something fun together.

...for the growth I have gained when given the opportunity to write a talk.

...that I am able to let my kids go outside and get dirty and explore when we are at home.

...to have family scripture reading every night.

Sunday gratitude...thirty-three...

I am grateful...

...that seven years ago today, Mac became part of our family forever. I can't imagine our family without him.

...to have been able to go see my husband speak in the YSA ward today.

...for the sabbath day. To have a day of rest from the world.

...for Oak's birth family who came to see us this week to help celebrate Oak's birthday.

...for brownies. We had some tonight at Mac's request for his forever day. I love brownies.

...for our home. It is perfect for us, although not perfect. We love it here.

...for medication that I know will take my migraine away.

Sunday gratitude...thirty-two...

I am grateful...

...to have made such wonderful friends here where we live.

...for my awesome amazing husband who is always willing to help my mom out with what ever she needs.

...for my mom's siblings who are always helping her too.

...for Relief Society. I have not gone much in the many past years because I have been in primary. I don't have a calling yet and I have just loved being able to go the last couple of weeks. It has been so good for my soul and testimony.

...for the space we have in our new home.

...for my baby girl who is turning FIVE this week. WHAT?!?! How can that be? She is a huge blessing to our family. I adore her!

Sunday Gratitude...thirty-one...

I am grateful...

Finding it hard to be grateful today, but I guess that's when we need to count our blessings the most.

...to be home safely from our trip.

...that we don't have much planned for the month of August.

...that school starts in a month. yes, we homeschool, but I am excited to get back to our routine that comes with homeschooling.

...to be able to go to Relief Society for the last couple of weeks. I have been in primary for pretty much most of our marriage so going to RS is not a regular occurrence for me.

...that it was Fast Sunday so we got to go to church with Hubs. He is a High Councilman so he is at another ward or branch all the other Sundays.

...to be home this week so that I can actually get my house in order. It has been seriously neglected with trips and house projects.

Sunday Gratitude...twenty-nine...

I am grateful...

...for my little family and when we are all together.

...for our new home and for the space it gives all of us.

...for my kids' birth families. They are all pretty great.

...for the busy week we had and all that my body is capable of doing.

...when I make food from scratch.

...for great lessons in church today and that I was able to attend Sunday School and Relief Society.

Sunday Gratitude...twenty-eight...

I am grateful...

...for the amazing Ward we just moved from. They were one of the best we have ever been in.

...for our new Ward. It will be an adjustment for my mom and I. But the kids came out of Primary with big smiles on their faces.

...for my little family. I am beyond blessed to have these two kiddos and their dad.

...for the Lakehouse and all the memories that are made there. My kids will have so many amazing memories to look back on and I love thinking about that.

...for the cooler weather this week. Our new house is pretty miserable when it is hot.

...to pick blackberries and make blackberry pie today.

...to visit my Aunt (my dad's sister) this last week. She is my dad's only living relative. Her health is not well because she has Parkinson's and it was difficult to see her that way. I was glad that we took the time to visit her and help her with a few things she couldn't do herself.

...for my husband. He has been so helpful and he works so hard for our family.

Sunday Gratitude...twenty-three...

Can you tell Oak was not a happy camper? And Mac is just crazy Mac.

I am grateful...

...for the hard moments with my kids because it helps me to appreciate the good moments more.

...to be able to homeschool my kids. More often than not I find reasons to keep homeschooling. It's stressful but brings me a lot of joy and I know it is what is right for my kids.

...for summer fun. Our summer calendar is already so filled up with fun and stress.

...for the opportunities I have had to serve with my kids lately. I know it is one of the most important things I can teach my kids.

...for the sabbath day. I haven't felt like I could always say that. But the last six months I have been able to say that.

...for the homemade strawberry shortcake that I am about to devour. YUM!
