Mother's Day
We were lucky enought to be able to spend Mother's Day with my mom. We stayed the night and went to church with them in the morning. My mom made a yummy roast beef dinner and my husband made strawberry shortcake. YUM!
Mac made this in Primary. My favorite parts are the "just old" and the cleaning dishes (see the picture HERE if you want to know why I think that is funny).
Mac made this in preschool, so cute right?
And I was about to post a picture of what we made for the kids' grandma's and birthmoms and birth grandma's but I am a slacker and I have yet to get Mac's birth mom's and birth grandma's in the mail to them (getting to the post office is ALWAYS a huge undertaking for me for some reason). And I don't want to spoil their surprise.

"Toof"
We were staying the night at my parents house and Hubs was brushing Mac's teeth and his loose tooth started to bleed. My husband said it had to come out before we went to bed because he was worried Mac would swallow it. So Mac and daddy sat at the kitchen sink working on it for about 30 minutes. Mac was crying pretty hard because he was scared, not because it hurt. He was pretty brave though and would let daddy try to wiggle it free and then Mac mostly wanted to do it himself. When it was really just hanging by a thread, he wanted me to come hold him so I sat with him on my lap while he try to twist and turn and wiggle his tooth out. And then he did it, it came out! We were all very proud. The Tooth Fairy didn't come prepared so she had to borrow from Grandma Tooth Fairy. And Mac made out like a bandit with three dollars (because it was his first and for pulling it out himself). He was so excited!
Daddy comforting Mac because he was scared.
Daddy giving a pep talk. Mac was NOT happy that I took this picture.
And look at his cute little mouth and his cute little tooth! You can see he had been crying.
I asked him if he wanted to write a note to the tooth fairy, and I am so glad that I did, so precious...
"Dear Tooth(fairy), Look at my tooth. I hope you bring me a surprise. McCoy"
He wrote this with very little help.
And a picture of him and the tooth fairy.

Feeling like summer...
The weather so far in May has been AMAZING. It has felt more like summer than spring. We have been living it up playing outside, running though sprinklers and eating popsicles.
Summer loving at it's best!
It's great to be eight & all the cousins!
Last weekend we had the opportunity to go to our nephew's baptism. Mr. Sam, the cute boy in the orange tie chose to be baptized and we are so proud of him. He has come so far since he was born weighing just two pounds. It was a beautiful baptism, and I was so proud of my Mac for sitting reverently and quietly through the entire baptism program. I think he really felt the spirit. And since my sister-in-law was in town with her new baby we were able to get an updated picture with all the grandkids. Look at them, I love them all so much!

April in photos...
Love when he lays like this!
Mac adores his Grandpa!
Totally blurry but so cute!
They found a worm on a walk.
Oak even loved it!
When we were at my parents house we walked to the little market to get a treat. I found it weird that the kids were buying candy and the cashier gave them more candy and probably really old since they are Christmas candy canes.
My kids were all about silly faces when I was trying to take their pictures when they were playing play-doh during general conference.
We have been watching this cute little guy a couple of times a week. My kids LOVE him, and that is really putting it lightly. They really are a bit obsessed with him. It has been so much fun having a baby in the house again We are sad that this week will be our last week taking care of him.
Mac was very excited to make him a fort. You can't tell but baby B is in the middle of those pillows.
Oak worked hard on this necklace.
Watching a bird out the window. And oh that bum!
The weather was amazing in April (and has been even better in May). One Saturday I had alot of errands to run and a bridal shower to go to so Daddy took the kids the the coast by himself. They had fun and the weather was great but they didn't end up staying very long because Oak wanted her mommy. She isn't away from me very much so she doesn't like to be away from me for long periods of time.
Oak looking cute in some new clothes.
Believe it or not but Mac is really asleep in this picture. Creepy!
Loving these warm days and playing outside alot!
I was so excited to find some skirts that were long and had shorts attached underneath. So I bought her three to where this summer since it is hard to find long shorts for little girls.
Oak just being good and looking cute on our trip to Utah.
Finally out of the car after a 16 hour drive from Utah to Oregon.
Daddy and Mac looking for frogs.
I am a Chaco lover and the pair I had previously lasted me eight years and unfortunately bit the dust last July. I was excited to use my birthday money to buy some new ones. So excited to wear them all summer long!
