Soccer, horses, friends and chickens...

My homemade, made from scraps from our yard, earring holder that my hubs and "Mac" made me for my birthday. I love it!

Hubs built a some roosts for the chickens. They love them.

Mac was adamant on making a menu where we had to check off what we wanted and he made us our hamburger. It was so cute!

Oak was all ready for her first soccer practice five hours ahead of time.

She loved her first practice. I'm officially a soccer mom.

After practice she came right home and wanted to practice for another hour.

Dad helping Mac with his pine wood derby car.

We cut the legs off of these overalls because they were too short and had a hole in the knee. Oak decided to make a dress for her bear out of the pant leg.

The weather was so beautiful that I had to eat breakfast on the back deck.

Petting horses on a walk.

This is around the corner from our house and we pass by it on our walks/bike rides and Oak will be starting horse back riding lessons next week.

Weather was beautiful so quiet time was reading books and doing perler beads.

Mac has been interested in baseball lately and will be starting T-ball next month.

My cutie and me. Thankful we are going to the dentist soon to get his teeth cleaned. He gets this nasty grime on his teeth even with consistent brushing and it's frustrating because it looks so bad and looks like his teeth are rotting although they are not. He has never had a cavity and it cleans off when he gets his teeth cleaned.

She is my tree climber and she got her self stuck.

We randomly met our neighbors who live behind us. We happened to be at the back of our property when they got home and he came up and talked to us. Super nice and he even got one of his horses out for the kids to feed and pet.

Found a tick on the clothes of one of the kids after playing in the trees. Not happy.

I got to watch a friends little girl for the weekend.

Oak's first soccer game!

Of course her favorite part is the drink and snack afterwards.

Hubs burning all the branches he cut from our fruit trees.

Mac playing in his mud hole.

Our chickens are getting so big.

Playing with Miss Gloria outside.

We got fro yo for dinner at the new local fro yo shop. The kids loved it!

spring cleaning, scouts and lots of outdoor fun...

The kids behavior had been really bad. So We had a behavior boot camp day/spring cleaning. We made a list of things that needed to be taken care of that don't get done on a regular basis like vacuuming couches, cleaning out light fixtures, dusting, washing windows. We worked together all day on it. They weren't allowed to do anything else. It actually ended up being a really great day and before bed Oak said in her prayer over and over what a great day it was and how she likes having a clean house. And Mac randomly said to as he was getting into bed that the day wasn't as bad as he thought it would be. The next day they were back at their poor behavior but not as bad as before.

School on the couch in the afternoon.

Cub scouts did their rain gutter regatta and it was a blast.

Our friends baby boy. My kids are obsessed with him.

When we were at the park a few weeks ago our friend A fell and broke his leg. When he walked into the event he had a bummed face. But Mac stayed by him the whole time, talking to him and helping him. And he left with a smile on his face.

Mac had already won one time. So he let A win, He was watching him closely to make sure the his friend was ahead. It was really sweet.

Pushing A around.

We skipped our homeschool class and went with friends to the science museum thats an hour and a half away.

The kids always love playing outside at the museum and eating lunch.

After lunch we ended up back inside and the kids played in this creative room for more than an hour.

We went to the farm store to get some chick feed. And my mom and kids just had to get a white chick, which we don't have. She is cute, but I did not want to get him. She will probably be more like a pet, because she is by herself and gets a lot more attention and play time. Her name is Gloria because we were listening to the song Glorious is the care when we brought her home.

We tried to build a teepee with the branches daddy trimmed off our fruit trees.

Lots of bike rides and walks.

The great thing of living in the country is walks usually consist of feeding or petting some sort of farm animal.

The scooter doesn't do so well on our roads to bumpy.

I went on a bike ride all by myself. Trying to fit in some exercise when I can.

We had a bad ant problem in our kitchen for a couple of weeks. Woke up to this one morning after my mom had made sugar water for the hummingbirds and it didn't get cleaned up well enough. They are actually all dead in the picture I had already sprayed them all already. We haven't seen a single ant in about a week. yay!

Planting flowers on the front porch.

General Conference started out like this, but soon all of my normal activities for the kids were boring them and didn't work.
